Hello everyone,

There is a lot going on behind the scenes at Streamheroes, and we want to share with you, what we’re working on. With the Evolution update, we’ve introduced drastic changes, which had a lot of impact on our existing system.

We are well aware some of our features are still not working as intended, but instead of applying patches everywhere, we’ve decided to give several areas a proper overhaul to adapt and improve old features, introduce new features, and improve usability.

Here is a quick overview of the upcoming changes planned for Q2. A detailed Devblog will follow, as soon as we are nearing a publishing date for specific features. Please mind, the order of those features is thematic, and not necessarily chronological.

Seasons and Leaderboards

Concept

  • Separate leaderboards and leagues for streamers and viewers
  • Seasons
    • 3 months
    • Themed rewards, quality layers, collection, badges
    • Themed frames and booster pack designs for streamers
    • Additional prizes by Streamheroes to support streamers and communities
    • and more

Why are we doing this?

  • Re-introduction of the loyalty aspect
  • New ways to reward loyal viewers
  • New opportunities for streamers to interact with their communities
  • Additional incentive for viewers to watch and support their streamers
  • Earn rewards as community and individual.
  • Enable new and casual users to participate in the leaderboards and quickly experience progress within their own leagues.

Season 0 will be a test and only a selection of features will be included. There is more coming up for Season 1 and future seasons, and we’re excited to hear your thoughts about this!

UI Updates

We’ll switch from top to side navigation to improve overview and usability. Additionally, we gain more room for future features.

  • Hub - an overview page to keep you updated
    • Season status
    • Quest Overview
    • Realtime energy status
    • Discover newly uploaded booster packs
    • Don’t miss any information with our News feed, directly on Streamheroes!
    • Check out which channels are live
  • Profile page - one page for streamers and users, streamers have additional tabs available.
    • Customizable activity feed, quick overview of your top season rankings.
    • Showcase to present your favourite cards.
    • Detailed customizable list of your seasonal ranking at different streamers.
    • Additional streamer tabs:
      • Available booster packs
      • Leaderboard of the respective streamer
  • Inventory
    • Sort your cards into self-defined storage containers
    • Tag your containers, e.g. legendary cards, Dhalucard events, …
    • Redeem booster packs
    • Open quickly multiple booster packs.
    • Redeem sealed booster packs and keep them in your inventory. In the future we want to give boosters value by enabling you to trade, e.g. limited booster packs that are not regularly available anymore.
  • Season landing page
  • Streamer Control Center
    • Check your stats, including redeemed cards and many more.
    • Alert, chatbot set up
    • More alerts and customization options

    • Booster pack management
      • Upload and approve booster packs.
      • Base Sets
        • Create multiple booster packs.
        • Include more than 5 cards in one booster pack (multiple of 5 possible).
        • Archive your base sets.
      • Create and schedule event sets.
      • Choose your booster pack design.
      • Order your own cards as demo set

Why are we doing this?

  • Align the website with the Evolution system.
  • Provide a better, more intuitive user interface.
  • Integrate new and reworked features.
  • Several bugs should be fixed by the rework (e.g. streamers without cards being displayed as card streamers).

Mobile App

  • Scan QR code
  • Scan Edding-Code
